Meet Cassidy Palmateer, 2020 Senior from Swan Valley High School.
Hair by Kaitlyn MacGregor and Make-up by Kaitlyn MacGregor
Cassidy’s session was unique because we were able to capture beautiful barn and rustic looking pictures at her grandparents’ house. We also went to the Bay City State Theater to embrace her love of film. We wrapped up her senior pictures at the 3rd street star bridge in downtown Bay City. Cassidy also added on the Traverse City photoshoot to her senior session which was so much fun!
Cassidy's favorite high school memory was hanging out with her friends for game/movie nights and going to the football games. She plans on attending Central Michigan University, majoring in Fashion Design and Merchandising with an emphasis in design. She hopes to get an internship in New York or LA next summer!! Best wishes!
Here is what Cassidy said about her experience as a Luxe Tosha Cole Photography Senior…
“The consultation really helped me and my mom get an idea of what was going to happen the day of the shoot. I don’t have older siblings, so we’d never gone through the senior photo process before. Tosha was so sweet and worked with us to figure out locations that were meaningful to me, that would also photograph well. I’m a pretty creative person, so I really liked that Tosha worked with me to get a final product we were all happy with. I’m super picky with my hair and makeup, and my artist went step by step, checking in with me to make sure it was what I wanted, while also making it photograph well. It added a glam aspect that teenage girls very rarely get to experience. I’m not usually comfortable getting my photo taken and Tosha made the whole shoot so relaxing and fun. She and her assistant both hyped me up and made me feel so confident. She also worked with me to find poses that felt natural for me, and camouflaged parts of my body I just wasn’t as comfortable with. I absolutely loved my images. They really showed my personality, way more than I’d thought they could. The editing was perfect. A lot of people either edit way too much, or way too little, and my images were right in that perfect middle area! The ordering session was surprisingly fun. I was a bit worried, since I’d just be staring at myself for a few hours, but it turned out to be really great. Tosha first had me sort through the photos and get rid of any that I didn’t like how I looked in, then went through and helped my family pick out what was best for them to order. I DO recommend her. Anyone who asks me if I know of a good senior photographer, I always send them Tosha’s way.”
Isn’t she the sweetest!!! Thank you so very much, Cassidy!!
